05:41:26 <LindaG> ☺
05:41:47 <Rice> Wish it was 32 deg in NY today, I am getting tired of this 90+/High Humidity Crap.
05:42:28 <LindaG> It's brutal my app said 100% without rain 🤤
05:43:12 <LindaG> I'm ready for fall
05:44:35 <ynpvisitor85> Linda, did you get Craigs e-mail?
05:44:54 <LindaG> ynpvisitor85, yes Kat was going to do shift
05:45:17 <LindaG> So hopefully she got it

05:59:07 <LindaG> ynpvisitor74, 😊
06:00:00 <LindaG> A little cabin in the mountains to escape to. Ahhhhh
06:03:07 <CraigC> morning folks
06:03:32 <LindaG> CraigC, morning
06:03:40 <ynpvisitor85> Hi Craig, this cam is yours
06:03:41 <ynpvisitor86> morning Craig
06:03:42 <CraigC> hey Linda
06:03:48 <JarnoO> and morning everyone
06:03:50 <CraigC> hey Joe, ok, got it
06:04:00 <LindaG> JarnoO, hi
06:04:30 <CraigC> hey Jarno
06:05:06 <CraigC> looks like everything has been caught and on the board, good job, Joe
06:06:21 <ynpvisitor85> Yep, I thought you would like to hunt wildlife your first day back :)
06:06:32 <LindaGt> Now theres two of me šŸ™‚
06:07:15 <ynpvisitor85> how will we ever survive, two Lindas
06:11:21 <JarnoO> Mug?
06:11:37 <JarnoO> looked like quite the steam output there
06:12:32 <CraigC> I can't see
06:13:15 <JarnoO> petition to rename "Three Sisters" to "Three Steaming Pools"
06:14:07 <ynpvisitor85> did not see mug on replay
06:14:10 <CraigC> ha, already fooled by some shrubbery
06:14:16 <JarnoO> thanks Joe
06:18:17 <LindaGt> So are there geysers that change behavior morning vs evening?
06:18:30 <ynpvisitor85> Craig, I have a 27" curved monitor now, did you stick with default settings on your 32"
06:18:49 <LindaGt> Mug seems to be more active early in the day
06:18:53 <JarnoO> diurnal geysers come to mind, Linda
06:19:03 <CraigC> ynpvisitor85, I put mine on gaming cuz of red dead redemption, maybe I will try default
06:19:27 <CraigC> is there a Bat Geyser?
06:19:29 <JarnoO> Plume was an example of that, where intervals during the day were shorter than during night
06:19:40 <CraigC> Opossum Geyser?
06:19:57 <ynpvisitor85> Thanks, I'll try diff sets to see how t looks
06:20:26 <CraigC> ynpvisitor85, are you liking it?
06:20:32 <LindaGt> Just seems evening it's less active but that's based on minimal viewing šŸ™‚
06:21:01 <ynpvisitor76> beehive is diurnal
06:21:17 <ynpvisitor85> yes, I can see things now :)
06:21:32 <LindaGt> ynpvisitor85, šŸ‘
06:21:49 <CraigC> 3cs, so Myg should be soon
06:23:23 <JarnoO> Craig, there is a Bat Pool in Gibbon
06:24:13 <CraigC> lol
06:24:41 <CraigC> btw, Joker is an excellent film..... not at all like any Marvel shows
06:25:28 <ynpvisitor85> I got lucky yesterday, swung the cam and there was Mugwump ie :)
06:26:06 <CraigC> I wonder if it went, I dont see any more 3cs
06:28:00 <LindaGt> ynpvisitor85, that's the best, no waiting and you have a time. Happened to me yesterday too.
06:30:18 <ynpvisitor85> name that geyser
06:30:20 <ynpvisitor76> HK is posting a Mugwump video today - he says theres a nice blue bubble on one of them
06:30:55 <CraigC> 3c
06:31:05 <ynpvisitor76> Guess he missed out on recording the first 30 seconds or so of the July 3 major. He said it was such a surprise that he was fumbling with the phone haha.
06:33:19 <JarnoO> morning Ryan, Jeff
06:33:34 <Jeff> morning everyone
06:33:40 <ynpvisitor85> #76, kinda like buck fever, Bam, bam, Bam
06:40:04 <CraigC> no one saw a Mug in all of that? Maybe it went inactive again already

06:42:26 <Ryan> In and amongst the COVID stuff is about 35 seconds of our state senator visiting the plant where I work...
06:43:19 <Ryan> "SENATOR TOOMEY SPOKE TO ME WHILE IN FAYETTE COUNTY WHERE HE WAS TOURING NOBELCLAD. A METAL MANUFACTURING COMPANY THAT HAS EXPANDED THEIR FACILITY DUE TO TAX CUTS AND THE JOBS ACT. "
06:46:12 <CraigC> cam froze
06:46:12 <ynpvisitor85> Craig thanks for the pictures and video you sent while in the park, at the end of the bear video I sat watching for about a minute waiting for the bear to make his next move, then realized the video stopped.
06:46:27 <CraigC> hahaha
06:46:41 <CraigC> did you notice how messed up his mouth is
06:47:15 <ynpvisitor85> i thought it looked strange
06:47:41 <CraigC> pretty sure it is the one they named Snaggletooth
06:48:07 <ynpvisitor85> I was just going to ask, thanks
06:58:15 <JarnoO> morning KevinS
06:58:32 <Forestbewithyou> Good Morning
07:00:59 <JarnoO> morning Forest
07:02:27 <CraigC> of
07:03:21 <Forestbewithyou> Morning
07:03:37 <Forestbewithyou> I am almost done with a unit of pre-calc which I intend to finish today
07:05:26 <CraigC> hey Forest
07:05:27 <Ryan> nice
07:05:38 <Forestbewithyou> Hi Craig
07:05:49 <Ryan> i found precalc annoying. Simple but difficult for some reason
07:07:05 <Forestbewithyou> Yes I totally agree.
07:07:50 <Ryan> Calc 1 is easy. Calc 2 is dense but OK. Calc 3 is just a nightmare. Then Calc 4 is simple again....
07:07:53 <CraigC> rside
07:07:55 <CraigC> ie
07:08:39 <Ryan> Calc 3 (mutlivariable equations) totally broke my brain. I had to take it twice.
07:09:18 <Forestbewithyou> oh my
07:09:20 <Ryan> But for some reason, differential equations (Calc 4) was easy despite being logisitcally the same as Calc 3. :/
07:10:09 <ynpvisitor42> No YVO SB temp guage update this AM. Guess its down. Again. Seems like it is down as much as it is up.
07:11:11 <Ryan> F(x) = Af(x)+Bf'(x)+cf"(x)+D... Have three of those in a system, solve for f(x) annnnnd go.
07:11:31 <Forestbewithyou> yup don't know that yet
07:11:55 <Forestbewithyou> Right now I am on polynomial functions
07:12:12 <Ryan> You have to shift fromm the x (time) domains to a different domain regime (s, frequency). It's great...
07:12:25 <ynpvisitor85> Since no one posted Riverside, I took the liberty :)
07:12:56 <Ryan> Forest, have you done long division with functions?
07:13:04 <Forestbewithyou> yup
07:13:10 <Forestbewithyou> working on it right now :)
07:13:11 <Ryan> I never did learn that
07:13:45 <Ryan> Never understood it, and never could get the procedure down right. I can do roots and cubed roots by hand (theres a long process for it) but I can't long divide polynomials...
07:15:05 <Forestbewithyou> Yea Long division is kinda difficult but I am not having too much of an issue with it
07:15:09 <Forestbewithyou> it just takes a bit
07:16:20 <Ryan> If you plan to go into the sciences, learning to do square roots and cubed roots by hand is a good thing to know. Saved my butt a few times.
07:16:52 <Forestbewithyou> I will have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up!
07:17:01 <ynpvisitor85> MUG
07:17:16 <CraigC> cool
07:17:25 <Forestbewithyou> hey nice
07:18:03 <ynpvisitor85> at 1655
07:18:36 <Ryan> Like, thinking about it... x^1.5... = x^(3/2) = x^3 * x(1/2), you can solve it by taking y --> y^2/3. Take Y, square it, and do the cubed root by hand.
07:19:07 <Ryan> You just solved a decimal exponent. If you can break the decimal into factors of 3 and 2 you can solve the roots by hand.
07:19:38 <Forestbewithyou> yea
07:19:41 <Ryan> The root system is like long division of numerals, but with a couple added steps. I refresh myself every now and then on the process.
07:25:31 <ynpvisitor88> Mugwump 0716 replay https://youtu.be/n2eRIbcUIc0
07:26:36 <JarnoO> thanks Joe
07:32:23 <JarnoO> fingers crossed we didn't see the last eruption of Mugwump
07:33:52 <ynpvisitor85> Craig caught that one he will get more now :)
07:34:26 <CraigC2> I pointed cam, you saw it
07:34:48 <CraigC2> my view is stuttering really badly
07:35:15 <KorbenC> I had a nice quick walk, but come back dissapointed that SB did not go overnight :)
07:35:16 <JarnoO> morning Korben
07:35:26 <KorbenC> Hi Jarno
07:35:31 <ynpvisitor85> stuttering here also
07:35:37 <CraigC2> I am happy for bevs it didnt go overnight
07:35:47 <Forestbewithyou> Hi Korben
07:36:13 <KorbenC> CraigC, me too, but I was thinking overnight/early this morning around 2 or 3AM after yesterdays note. Hi.
07:36:17 <KorbenC> Hey Forest
07:36:24 <CraigC2> hey Cooper
07:36:45 <CraigC2> 3cs
07:36:49 <KorbenC> 3c
07:37:45 <KorbenC> Atlantic Invest is till 80/80, Cristina still forcast to become a short lived Hurricane, though its chances are dwindling.
07:38:03 <JarnoO> read that, yeah
07:38:16 <KorbenC> and a 0/60 in the Pacific
07:41:00 <CraigC2> I wasn't paying attention, was there a mug
07:41:37 <JarnoO> don't think so, Craig
07:43:41 <ynpvisitor85> no mug seen here
07:44:14 <ynpvisitor85> Daisyin ~10
07:44:24 <CraigC2> thanks
07:46:50 <KorbenC> looked ie for a second

07:49:52 <ynpvisitor85> thanks, Ryan
07:50:32 <KorbenC> Ryan, thanks, thats a great video. Also Good Morning
07:51:27 <Forestbewithyou> That is a really great video
07:51:37 <Ryan> youll note the Mugwump eruption begins several seconds before the bursting...
07:52:36 <Forestbewithyou> I love the thumbnail of the video
07:52:46 <Ryan> I like the flood of water
07:52:58 <Ryan> Fun geyser, glad I got to see it
07:53:01 <ynpvisitor42> there's the YVO SB temp guage update
07:53:09 <KorbenC> Mugwump looks almost like a bigger depression IMHO
07:53:49 <KorbenC> Dep also has that huge flood of water
07:54:41 <ynpvisitor67> ynpvisitor42, you were complaining too early
07:55:57 <KorbenC> looks like it may have had a good push early this morning, but that is Ryans feild
07:57:42 <CraigC2> daisy
07:58:02 <ynpvisitor42> looks like a push around 2300ish and then 0300ish. ready to go any time
07:58:06 <KorbenC> Right on time :)
08:02:31 <CraigC2> I caught some little blips at the front of Three Sisters; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmoJ750HHS4
08:03:09 <JarnoO> isn't that MYR-1?
08:07:22 <CraigC2> here's a short clip of a mug, as Bee is being called; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZPyM7VzMd0
08:08:22 <KorbenC> nice
08:11:45 <JarnoO> morning sparekitty
08:11:54 <KorbenC> Hi Kitty, WB Ryan
08:12:01 <Ryan> I dont see anything on the YVO plot.
08:12:16 <sparekitty> good morning! it looks like a lovely day but 38?? brrr.
08:12:29 <Ryan> If you read the section I typed up (rough draft granted) you'd know what to look for :)
08:12:54 <Ryan> And note that BenVL's 2041 event did not register.
08:12:54 <sparekitty> so i've had to work and haven't seen if SB has gone lately...any chance for a sat or sun SB this weekend?
08:13:05 <sparekitty> or any REASONABLE chance?
08:13:16 <Ryan> Eh, it would have to erupt basically right now
08:13:40 <KorbenC> Well, everyone was there yesterday, and will be there today. Meaning it would need a super short itnerval, or a super long one
08:13:41 <Ryan> and then pull a shorter interval of only 2-3d. Not impossible, and not unreasonable, but probably not likely.
08:14:17 <KorbenC> White Star ie
08:14:24 <sparekitty> thank you, ryan. that's what i figured but i wanted to inquire of more recently informed gazers.
08:14:25 <CraigC2> feature above MC
08:14:26 <Ryan> Based on the notes on GT, I am mildly surprised it hasnt erupted yet.
08:14:44 <Ryan> np, sk.
08:15:08 <Ryan> Craig, what are you entering that UNNG as? "Other"?
08:15:26 <sparekitty> i'm bringing 2 friends who have never been to yellowstone and we only have 2 full days.
08:15:42 <CraigC2> I let others enter
08:16:02 <Ryan> JarnoO, may be worth figuring out how to describe that geyser and its location using something other than runoff channel color. :P
08:16:21 <KorbenC> Ryan, :p
08:16:40 <Ryan> SK, my advice would be dependent on when SB erupts. I would not suggest Saturday - but I dont think Sunday is a bad idea.
08:16:44 <Ryan> At leats afternoon or so
08:17:26 <KorbenC> Hi Fish
08:17:34 <JarnoO> morning fish
08:17:39 <sparekitty> sounds good, ryan, especially since we're staying in West. it's on the way out.
08:17:44 <fishynp> I will be visiting Norris on Friday (tomorrow) to hopefully get YNM back up and running.
08:17:57 <ynpvisitor69> fishynp, yay, thx
08:18:15 <fishynp> fingers crossed.......
08:18:34 <sparekitty> we're headed from craig to lewis & clark caverns tomorrow, then through ennis and to dinner in West with my daughter. should be a lovely drive.
08:18:40 <CraigC2> fishynp, why not go today and spend 48 hours checking it out
08:18:48 <ynpvisitor67> fishynp,
08:19:07 <fishynp> I have to drive up from SLC today.
08:19:24 <CraigC2> I owuld be there right now if I had a campsite
08:20:13 <fishynp> Maybe I'll get lucky and see another SB eruption tomorrow, although today seems like a good bet.
08:20:29 <CraigC2> surprised it hasn't gone
08:20:56 <Ryan> A note about the YVO logger, which will be discussed more in an upcoming Sput article:
08:21:14 <ynpvisitor115> Fishy, I'm sure it's been discussed before but I was wondering why the YFT trace has been almost dead for months?
08:21:37 <fishynp> It's broken. It's on the list for maintenance.
08:21:44 <CraigC2> JarnoO, didn't you see the other feasture erupting above "white star" a while ago?
08:22:02 <ynpvisitor115> Thanks
08:22:25 <Ryan> A minor eruption needs to last more than two minutes, or be very well times. The logger probe can take three or four seconds to fuly heat up when hot water hits it, and then another two or three to fully cool down. The data logger also only logs every two minutes - almost all minor events, unless they have good timing, will not be registered.
08:22:35 <CraigC2> I panned the cam up from depression and had it centered on that other feature erupting
08:22:43 <JarnoO> Craig, that's why it says at the bottom "same as logged earlier"
08:23:01 <Ryan> Even a major eruption, if the wind is in the right direction, may not be logged as a spike unless the surge lasts more than two minutes.
08:23:17 <CraigC2> JarnoO, 2 different features
08:23:21 <Ryan> I posted a graphic here as an example. Let me find it...
08:24:05 <fishynp> I've never heard of a minor eruption lasting less than 2 minutes. I would think regardless of the wind direction, water is going to go down the channel and the logger will register it.
08:24:16 <fishynp> sorry, I meant major eruption.
08:25:49 <Ryan> https://imgur.com/uhtP3yV
08:26:13 <fishynp> and, I think the most important thing as far as the logger is concerned when identifying major eruptions, is not the temp spike from the eruption itself, but the drop in temperature from the channel going dry after the major eruption.
08:26:39 <Ryan> fishynp, there is video evidence from at least one eruption (4 Aug 2018) which started with no pre-surges, and in strong winds. The main surge lasted less than 2 minutes, after that all the water was blown sideways.
08:27:09 <KorbenC> Ryan, link?
08:27:14 <Ryan> Oh yes, the short blurb I am writing up for the sput notes that what to look for isnt the spike, but the drop. Both for the main event and super heavy minors.
08:28:32 <Ryan> Several other eruptions have been similar, one the column climbs up above a certain height, all of the water just gets blown sideways away from the runoff channel with the logger - at that point the water thats coming back into the runoff has cooled, and reduced in volume. Some eruptions produce no spikes at all.
08:29:09 <Ryan> That graphic I posted (https://imgur.com/uhtP3yV) is actually done by simulating a heat probe with known size, amss, and thermal properties, dipped in flowing water.
08:30:27 <KorbenC> SC ie
08:30:31 <Ryan> There are 8 minor events, with surges of water lasting about 2-6 seconds. The logger (red dots) uploads every 5 seconds. You'll note that of the 8 simulated minor events, only 4 showed up in any way you could see in the logger output.
08:31:48 <Ryan> TLDR: take spikes, or lack there of, on the YVO loggers with a grain of salt. Pay attention to the shape of the curve and look for big dips or troughs in the curve that would suggest that water stopped flowing past the sensor for hours or more.
08:33:06 <ynpvisitor2> Orientation question. What is steaming to the right of OF? Is that split cone?
08:33:22 <Katied> Hi all
08:33:42 <JarnoO> #2, it is SC
08:33:44 <JarnoO> morning Katie
08:34:08 <ynpvisitor2> Thanks JarnoO. In all this time, just never realized that was how we saw it now.
08:34:26 <Mike J> And, if one is to speak, one should sign in.
08:34:30 <JarnoO> morning Mike
08:34:31 <Mike J> Good morning all
08:35:04 <KorbenC> Hi Mike
08:35:10 <KorbenC> Fish, are oyu still here?
08:35:45 <Mike J> Just a quick weather report to make everyone (but Kevin) feel better. We've got at least 7 days of 110+ temps.
08:36:06 <fishynp> yes
08:36:09 <Forestbewithyou> oh my
08:37:12 <ynpvisitor85> that is what siestas are for Mike J
08:37:26 <Ryan> Also, fish, my comment about a 2 minute long minor eruption was more or less what you said - I dont think a minor eruption would ever last 2 minutes. At best you have several back to back minors which merge their runoff down the channel.
08:37:30 <Mike J> That and A/C 85
08:37:56 <ynpvisitor85>
08:47:26 <KorbenC> OF
08:47:48 <JarnoO> probably from a stall
08:48:19 <KorbenC> how were the senators yesterday Ryan?
08:49:07 <KorbenC> Ryan doesnt want to talke to me about senators I guess :P
08:50:23 <Ryan(lunch)> Ryan suggests you give him some space as he asked you privately and will now do so publicly.
08:50:40 <KorbenC> :(
08:57:31 <JarnoO> 3m05s for this OF
08:57:34 <JarnoO> morning kc

08:59:10 <JarnoO> OF's likely going to go somewhere around the 1h20m to 1h25m mark
09:41:09 <Forestbewithyou> I am going to hop off for work. talk to you all a bit later
09:41:18 <JarnoO> cya Forest
09:42:06 <JarnoO> morning Kevin
09:42:12 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> hi
10:00:20 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> I hear Perry Mason music. Guess it is time to drive.
10:00:44 <JarnoO> FYI: OF had a 3m05s eruption. Likely to go before window opens
10:01:16 <JarnoO> Daisy
10:01:28 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Good timing!
10:01:35 <JarnoO> indeed it is
10:02:02 <Katie> Happy Driving!
10:02:21 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Take care Katie
10:02:30 <ynpvisitor88> Is Cooper taking another really long shower? he is almsot always chatting away at us.
10:03:14 <JarnoO> morning Linda
10:03:18 <LindaG> Good morning

10:09:13 <LindaG> Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ, oh neat
10:09:30 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Getting rare and I think those are going to be disposed of.
10:09:54 <kc (working)> OF
10:10:01 <LindaG> I'll look
10:11:26 <JarnoO> well, good to see at least one of my predictions came true
10:21:58 <LindaG> Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ, I saw them, nice
10:22:56 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> They were first used on the streamlined passer trains. Looked really good.
10:23:45 <LindaG> So I filed a tax return on March 17. Did bot get a refun. In looking into it I transposed husbands SS#. Woe to me 😩
10:24:12 <LindaG> *did not get a refund
10:24:29 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Ugh. IRS is plain evil. I did that once.
10:24:47 <LindaG> Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ, how did you handle it?
10:25:03 <LindaG> I havent heard from them at all
10:26:01 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> They contacted me and I had to fill out a bunch of forms. Took much longer to get it done.
10:26:20 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Here is what the original warbonnet looked like: https://www.railpictures.net/photo/718966/
10:26:48 <LindaG> Ok thx, I get the feeling that they are way behind and they havent done it yet
10:27:13 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> You are probably right.
10:27:42 <LindaG> Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ, oh that's a handsome train, guess I cant call it pretty šŸ™‚
10:29:19 <ynpvisitor85> How many hours has one stood at Aurum waiting, waiting, I have spent many.
10:30:52 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Same here.
10:33:18 <Mike J> Yes, hours spent. However, a lot of those were while also waiting for Bee. You can easily see if the indicator starts. Of course, those were also some of the most unsuccessful hours.
10:33:26 <Take it Lisy> Hey, I just found out there's a naked-eye visible comet in the skies (though in the hazy light-polluted region I live in, seeing it would be amazing). Good viewing of it in the desert SW.
10:33:59 <Take it Lisy> https://www.nasa.gov/feature/jpl/comet-neowise-sizzles-as-it-slides-by-the-sun-providing-a-treat-for-observers
10:35:33 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> We have talked about it. Here is more info: https://spaceweather.com/
10:35:45 <Take it Lisy> Cool
10:37:43 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Here is a fun timelapse: https://spaceweathergallery.com/indiv_upload.php?upload_id=164757
10:41:59 <JarnoO> Aurum 1039 static for two frames
10:42:26 <Take it Lisy> That is good. It's going to be an evening sky object in a couple of days -- I might have to make a field trip. Of course, afternoons and evenings can get cloudy with T-storms around.
10:42:32 <JarnoO> actually one frame now
10:43:15 <Kevin Lā„¢šŸŒµ> Wish the gazers were here to give us Turban reports
10:52:13 <KorbenC> SWARM has promising signal
10:52:38 <JarnoO> that looks like Steamboat to me
10:53:06 <KorbenC> Steamboat 1048
10:53:29 <KorbenC> gonna wait 5 too enter it
10:54:03 <ynpvisitor85> link to swarm
10:54:06 <KorbenC> that would put it 57 minutes off of my cycling prediction (4.5, 5.5)
10:54:24 <KorbenC> ynpvisitor85, its an application
10:54:49 <ynpvisitor85> link to app
10:55:17 <KorbenC> https://imgur.com/a/AsENAa1 that is what I see
10:55:25 <KorbenC> thats her alright
10:55:55 <KorbenC> ynpvisitor85, https://volcanoes.usgs.gov/software/swarm/download.shtml
10:56:01 <KorbenC> I love watching steamboat start live
10:56:13 <KorbenC> do I add a ? or no
10:56:33 <JarnoO> I didn't. Consistent with all other signals
10:56:40 <JarnoO> call me a rebel
10:56:44 <JarnoO> dinner time
10:57:00 <Ryan> swarm shows the live signals?
10:57:00 <KorbenC> bye Jarno
10:57:15 <ynpvisitor85> now on ynr
10:58:11 <KorbenC> Ryan, yup
10:58:22 <KorbenC> I saw the signal about 3 seconds after the signal began
10:58:32 <Ryan> neat
10:58:49 <KorbenC> I can have it update every 10 seconds, roughly.
11:00:18 <KorbenC> Ryan, you should download it, its really a neat program
11:01:14 <Ryan> i just did, how do i open it?
11:02:44 <Ryan> wont open on my computer
11:03:38 <KorbenC> do you have java installed?
11:03:46 <Ryan> updating now
11:04:04 <KorbenC> and then you have to go into the SWARM Bin and open up SWARM Console
11:05:28 <Ryan> ok its open now
11:06:01 <Ryan> now what?
11:06:26 <KorbenC> ok
11:06:28 <Ryan> new data source?
11:06:29 <KorbenC> so if oyu want to see YNR....
11:06:50 <KorbenC> their is a dataviewer (left bar) that has 5 symbols right below Fule, Layout, Window, and Help
11:07:11 <KorbenC> One is like a pile of coins, its 3 gold "tubes" with a +
11:07:28 <Ryan> new data source?
11:07:45 <Ryan> whats the IP?
11:08:30 <KorbenC> go to seedlink server
11:08:43 <Ryan> k
11:08:58 <KorbenC> The IP is the washington one
11:09:04 <KorbenC> rtserve.iris.washington.edu
11:09:21 <KorbenC> mkae sure you give your data source a name.
11:09:47 <Ryan> k its loading
11:09:57 <KorbenC> it will take a while
11:11:14 <Ryan> cool, its open
11:11:32 <KorbenC> and what options does it give you?
11:11:51 <Ryan> Ivew got all YNR
11:12:09 <KorbenC> so you have YNR open?
11:12:24 <Ryan> Yeah, HHZ.
11:12:30 <KorbenC> nice
11:12:35 <KorbenC> now, it wont update the past data
11:12:45 <KorbenC> but if you let it run, you will see the data come in
11:12:57 <Ryan> Yeah, which one do you guys look at?
11:13:05 <KorbenC> but, if you want more live views, you can go down to the bottom left and click the monitor icon
11:13:10 <KorbenC> YNR HHZ WY 01
11:13:50 <ynpvisitor42> When did Grotto start?
11:13:50 <Ryan> "no wave data?
11:14:06 <Eric> Nice! a few hours later than expected...but glad it went in the range.
11:14:29 <KorbenC> thats normal
11:14:32 <Ryan> My monitor says no wave data for YNR HHN WY
11:14:37 <KorbenC> in the top of that window that says no wave data
11:14:48 <KorbenC> there are 7 icons
11:14:53 <KorbenC> the left one is monitor settings
11:15:01 <Ryan> k
11:15:02 <KorbenC> go in, and change your time span
11:15:25 <KorbenC> it will update (make sure you are ussing YNR HHZ WY 01 for SB on YNR)
11:15:58 <KorbenC> got it?
11:16:24 <ynpvisitor5> ynpvisitor42, Grotto started just now, at 1112 or 1113.
11:16:41 <Ryan> Yup, I am watching it now...
11:17:10 <KorbenC> OK
11:17:19 <KorbenC> you likely wont be able to see too much SB stuff left though
11:17:24 <Ryan> cool, thanks KC
11:17:33 <KorbenC> this link has the rest of the info, https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1919&v=C6KXCd0XdTc&feature=emb_logo
11:17:51 <KorbenC> and one tip if oyu dont want to have to set it up each time, go to layout, save layout
11:17:59 <KorbenC> and then each time yo ucan just open it up
11:18:04 <Eric> BTW, Morning all
11:18:14 <KorbenC> Hi Eric
11:18:51 <Ryan> Nice to see it for sure.
11:20:15 <KorbenC> so, SB stats on my predictions. My Stats based average prediction was roughly 18 hours off, so still in window. My Cycling prediction (4.5day, 5.5day,4.5day excetera was 57 minutes off
11:20:20 <Ryan> It hit my window.
11:20:37 <ynpvisitor42> yes Grotto at 1112 late or 1113 early. Can't tell from WC. Water clearly visible at early 1113
11:21:04 <ynpvisitor37> Any word on if they will fix YNM?
11:21:17 <GO STEAMBOAT> Guess my prediction was off by almost 8h :(
11:21:26 <KorbenC> ynpvisitor37, seismology department going in tommorow
11:21:36 <Eric> 8h isn't bad for SB Graham :-D
11:21:45 <KorbenC> my Temperature prediction was even closer 25 minutes
11:21:54 <Ryan> actually, its hit my window 12 of the last 13 eruptions
11:22:22 <ynpvisitor42> uncharacteristically it waited for full daylight
11:22:23 <Ryan> This is the 7th time in a row it hit my prediction.
11:22:45 <Eric> seismology deparment?
11:23:03 <Eric> You mean fish?
11:23:06 <KorbenC> Eric, fish, yup
11:23:23 <Ryan> New eruption: July 14, 18:10 +/-16 hours.
11:24:36 <Eric> hahaha, look forward to it....we really need a betting line here. bet.geysertimes.org!
11:25:03 <Eric> gambling is probably the closest predictions you will ever get!
11:25:26 <Ryan> My prediction algorithm has a batting average right now of 0.842
11:25:33 <GO STEAMBOAT> I dont have a prediction yet, need to hear about recovery speed
11:25:47 <GO STEAMBOAT> What is Korbens prediction?
11:25:53 <Eric> Yes, I am in the same boat steam :-P
11:25:58 <ynpvisitor42> Would someone mind entering Grotto.
11:25:58 <KorbenC> GO STEAMBOAT, Give me 5
11:26:03 <Ryan> Mine is pretty straight forward
11:26:08 <ynpvisitor42> lost my log in to GT
11:26:18 <Ryan> Average of the last 5 +/- the standard deviation of the last 5
11:26:29 <GO STEAMBOAT> Stats didnt change much. Still 47 a year each of the last 2 years
11:26:57 <Eric> I predict Steamboat within the next 30 days +- 30 days!
11:27:16 <Eric> someday that prediction won't be right :-(
11:27:18 <Ryan> Other stats: 100% daylight for the last 5 eruptions. 90% for the last 10, and 80 for the last 15 haha
11:27:44 <Eric> Nice
11:28:57 <Ryan> //if/ it keeps this up, it will steadily climb over 47 G
11:29:05 <Eric> Not even going to put a question mark on that E time...huh?
11:29:08 <GO STEAMBOAT> Or 100% daylight for the last 2 eruptions
11:29:29 <Ryan> its beating out the average interval this time last year which was 6.
11:29:58 <Ryan> Not my call, Eric. I personally trust JarnoO and KC, but politically a "?" is probably the better bet
11:30:18 <GO STEAMBOAT> And 80% for last 10. Still very good for SB
11:30:29 <Eric> I trust them too...but don't trust YNR 100% :-P even with better analysis
11:31:04 <Ryan> oops, I accidentally had the 0129 eruption in as a daylight eruption
11:31:57 <Ryan> Eric, then really you're not trusting them. All sensors are only as good as their ability to be analyzed. And good analysts can easily make up for a sub-par sensor.
11:32:17 <Ryan> I trust the JO-KC/YNR system at this point.
11:33:24 <ynpvisitor42> Thanks MikeG!
11:33:46 <Eric> OK...sure. I don't fully trust the analysis yet, give it 20 more cycles of being correct :-D
11:34:51 <Ryan> I can understand not trusting the analysis. I had to understand it a bit more before I began trusting it as well.
11:35:04 <KorbenC> So, a cycling interval prediction is 07/14/2020, but averaging my methods of predictions is... July 14th at 1733
11:35:06 <Ryan> Even still, I dont trust myself to do it. But I trust them to.
11:35:16 <Eric> Even if it's in my window of optimum eruption time :-D
11:35:41 <KorbenC> Eric, so far, YNR signals have been acurate (all 105 eruptions) even with false signals, which have a clear difference. See the upcoming sput article :)
11:36:00 <Eric> Cool, I look forward to reading it
11:36:44 <KorbenC> I am on mroe of the YNM Side, but becuase stupid YNM has been down so much, I learned YNR
11:36:46 <Ryan> Shame that Eric cant feed the seismograph stream into the dashboard.
11:37:01 <Ryan> I think YNM being down is a blessing in disguise.
11:37:03 <Eric> haha, nice try Ryan :-P
11:37:11 <KorbenC> Ryan, that would be awesome :)
11:37:27 <Eric> The stream is in the dashboard..just as a picture :-D
11:37:30 <Ryan> That wasnt a passive aggressive thing. It would be really cool, but I dont think you can pull from a standalone Java App can you?
11:37:54 <Ryan> Of course, there is an IP for the stream
11:38:03 <Ryan> Anyways, I am kind of glad YNM is down.
11:38:27 <Eric> Yes, real time data is available...that is how the guy was creating automated GT E times from YNM
11:38:51 <Ryan> It was a great opportunity to be forced into working with YNR and, personally, I learned a lot about the seismometers in the process.
11:39:14 <Eric> Thats cool...learning about the different axis and frequencies is pretty neat stuff.
11:39:23 <Ryan> It was a forced exposure to some new areas of knowledge for me that I wouldnt have done otherwise.
11:39:33 <KorbenC> did you ever get the chance you re-read my section after I cleaned up the figures Ryan?
11:39:46 <Eric> I am not sure if the guy who was doing YNM used a similar technique or not.
11:39:56 <Ryan> not yet, KC.
11:40:56 <Ryan> busy busy here. Hard to do it at work, and I am busy at home between one snake not eating, one snake being a fat lard, a third on the way, and a cave survey to run
11:41:38 <Ryan> The ball python is not happy with the pink mice, so when it wont eat them I put them in the corn snakes cage and inevitably its gone in an hour or so. The corn snake has eaten almost every day now for a week.
11:41:48 <Ryan> It's literally fat.
11:42:19 <Ryan> New mice come in today...
11:42:25 <KorbenC> Ryan,
11:43:09 <Ryan> My freezer and fridge had their circuit tripped yesterday at some point - in a heat wave - and I came home to all the pink mice in a thawed pool of blood on the freezer floor.
11:43:26 <Ryan> It was /disgusting/
11:43:51 <Ryan> and needless to say, everything in the freezer and fridge was spoiled.... yay adulting!
11:46:00 <lc> I'm SO p-ss-d at china.
11:46:08 <Lori S> SB eoke me up from a sound sleep
11:46:26 <lc> would be watching my 2nd SB now.
11:46:56 <Lori S> woke up just b4 11, walked dog,then looked at GT
11:47:28 <Lori S> hello all
11:47:28 <KorbenC> Hi Lori
11:47:32 <Eric> Don't be mad at another country for our own failures!
11:47:58 <Eric> One fail after another :-(
11:48:13 <lc> got to disagree, that is where it came from.
11:48:13 <KorbenC> next fail is going to be sending kids back to school
11:48:33 <KorbenC> no way to keep them home safely, or send them to school safely
11:48:38 <Ryan> yeah this has all been made way harder than it needs to be
11:48:45 <Katie> Seriously. Countries that we have historically, arrogantly, called "third world" are doing a far better job of handling this pandemic than the US is.
11:49:10 <KorbenC> I am fine staying at home, but 3/4 of the kids cant. but if oyu send us all back to school, we WILL get sick.
11:49:27 <Eric> Yep, many 3rd world countries have dealt with it....richest country in the world can't because we are spoiled brats!
11:49:38 <Eric> haha...I was typing the same thing Katie :-D
11:49:50 <Lori S> hi Korben
11:50:21 <KorbenC> IDK what is wrong with our country (well I do) but we suck, maybe I should move ot canada, I like maple syrup :)
11:50:35 <Lori S> oh geez C19 talk. Back to sleep. lol
11:50:43 <SantaFe108> if id move to canada i
11:50:43 <KorbenC> bye Lori
11:50:48 <SantaFe108> i'd be closer to ynp
11:50:48 <Ryan> POLITICS
11:50:51 <Ryan> RELIGION
11:50:54 <Katie> Good luck. We have managed this so poorly other countries won't let US citizens in. So, there's that.
11:51:08 <ynpvisitor42> If you want to be pissed at China how about the ongoing systematic attempt to wipe out the Tibetan and the Buddhists
11:51:21 <Eric> ^^^^^^
11:51:23 <Ryan> Hi, lc. Welcome to the asylum
11:51:24 <SantaFe108> ^^^
11:51:48 <Ryan> I get what you meant, and share your pain.
11:51:50 <KorbenC> I mean, doctors are overwhelemd, this thing is not going away soon, and we are loosing the battle right now.
11:51:52 <Eric> or their stupid race to gobble up all the other asian countries!
11:51:55 <lc> another reason 42
11:52:26 <Eric> Lot's of reasons to not like China...but our failure to deal with a virus shouldn't be one of them IMHO.
11:52:28 <Katie> Eric, yeah, the colonialist jerks! Oh... right...
11:52:34 <KorbenC> Jarno, Atlantic invest is 90/90
11:52:54 <KorbenC> so, did anyone do anything fun over July 4th?
11:53:01 <Ryan> I am mad at China because I cant see my forehead
11:53:15 <Katie> I got my cat back on Fourth of July
11:53:25 <Eric> Nice!
11:53:34 <Eric> OF ie
11:53:36 <KorbenC> nice Katie
11:53:41 <KorbenC> OF
11:53:42 <ynpvisitor42> g
11:54:04 <Eric> I climbed up a mountain and almost stepped in bear poop 3 times!
11:54:04 <ynpvisitor42> hope its a short. probably no GGs at Grand
11:55:09 <Eric> Heading toward the crater of Mt. St. Helens on Saturday!
11:55:15 <Ryan> I suffered from heat exhaustion, fought off a squirrel, and recorded cave airflow data
11:55:21 <Eric> Getting as close as I legally can :-D
11:55:41 <lc> got to ask, Eric what should the US have done different?
11:56:09 <Ryan> A basic understanding of the scientific process is a good start.
11:56:21 <Eric> Shut down flights immediately and brought a sensible federal/coordinated response.
11:56:35 <Eric> flights everywhere, not just international
11:56:40 <Ryan> Not even specific to health. Just the scientific method.
11:56:47 <ynpvisitor42> not elected 45 and his enablers
11:57:11 <Eric> that too...other countries let doctors lead the process, here we are letting politicians!
11:57:11 <Ryan> Eric, I can't imagine shutting down air travel (domestic) to help more than it would harm.
11:57:23 <ynpvisitor42> not allow the medical industrial complex to determine health care
11:57:32 <Eric> It would have stopped the virus in its tracks.
11:57:51 <Ryan> And done substantial damage to our infrastructure.
11:57:52 <Eric> reducing vectors is what it's all about in contagions.
11:57:56 <Eric> hahahaha
11:58:05 <Eric> too late Ryan
11:58:38 <Ryan> Well, yeah, but blaming the damage now because we didnt shut down domestic travel is a bit of a false herring.
11:59:13 <Ryan> It became apparent by roughly May/June that masks and social distancing worked extremely well. It could have ended there.
12:00:04 <ynpvisitor42> it was obvious in early march if you paid attention and used your brain
12:00:06 <Eric> Nope...I have been a proponent of shutting down all travel right when it hit the US
12:00:12 <Ryan> Had we listened to WHO, China, and our CDC in February we could have planned.
12:00:26 <Ryan> We would not have needed to shut down the whole works.
12:00:43 <ynpvisitor24> Bolton reported Trump ignored it all before Feb
12:01:02 <Ryan> Yup.
12:01:31 <Ryan> Ebolna, SARS, H1N1... we had pandemic response teams out in other countries /before/ it reached pandemic levels.
12:01:40 <ynpvisitor42> the news was out in Jan. it was clear then it was only a matter of time before it spread everywhere
12:01:42 <lc> didn't he stop filghts from china in late Jan?
12:02:02 <ynpvisitor24> not all flights
12:02:07 <Ryan> We could have had our own CDC team in China in January working to help stop.
12:02:31 <Ryan> lc, simple as flying from Beijing to some other country, and then in. There are ways around travel bans.
12:02:36 <ynpvisitor42> flight ban Jan 31
12:02:42 <lc> they didn't want it Ryan.
12:02:54 <Ryan> We didnt have one.
12:03:15 <lc> agree Ryan they went to errope, then the US.
12:03:15 <Ryan> They cant want something (Pandemic Response Team) that we didnt have.
12:04:24 <ynpvisitor42> But that ban was not a ban. Only funneling flights to a few airports
12:05:07 <Ryan> There is zero excuse the we, the supposed leaders of the free world, should be in this situation. There was not any one decision that got us here.
12:05:35 <JarnoO> am expecting an early OF again. 3m11s
12:05:47 <JarnoO> Daisy
12:06:16 <Eric> It's not just them versus us...we have citizens all over the world that could have been infected and brought it home early on.
12:06:24 <Ryan> Someone dies in a car accident while texting... well, they could have also slowed down, pulled over, turned down the music, worn a seatbelt, etc... a whole littany of things can be done to prevent this.
12:07:16 <Eric> There is STILL no coordinated response to the problem...our federal government is ignoring it and trying to pretend it isn't there!
12:07:37 <ynpvisitor24> they are coordinating relief funds to each other
12:08:03 <lc> seems a lot of young people don't see this as a big problem. That is a problem.
12:09:26 <Ryan> not just young people.
12:10:05 <ynpvisitor24> lc, I'm sorry you aren't able to get in the park. CraigC
12:10:28 <Ryan> I work with a few dozen others, all over 35, and I have yet to hear any of them discuss the reality of this. In fact, this morning I heard this across the aisle: "I have friends who actually beilieve masks work - can you imagine being that gullible!?"
12:10:32 <lc> depends on what you call young Ryan.:(
12:11:16 <KorbenC> lc, I see it as a HUGE problem
12:11:26 <KorbenC> and you cant get much younger than I am :)
12:11:29 <lc> 35 is pretty young.
12:11:49 <Ryan> I have unfriended people on social media, and in real life, who work here as nurses, etc - and I have known them since grade school - because they vociferously support the idea that COVID is a hoax and conspiracy to institute a socialist state...
12:11:52 <Ryan> Shouldn
12:12:28 <Forestbewithyou> I am back
12:12:31 <KorbenC> wb
12:12:35 <Forestbewithyou> thanks
12:12:41 <Ryan> Shouldn't be shocked. I have had people here in SW PA look me right in the eye and say gay people should be shot - not having any clue they were talking to a member of the LGBT community...
12:13:03 <KorbenC> Ryan, were the senators yesterday wearing masks?
12:13:16 <Ryan> Frankly, our country gets what it gets.
12:13:45 <Ryan> KC, I am not aware. I ended up never seeing them.
12:33:49 <ynpvisitor59> ON SWARM I have the console opon map and clipboard and left window with AVO Winston open, can anyone tell me the next steps
12:34:07 <KorbenC> dont open AVO winston
12:34:35 <KorbenC> you need to get data, so go to the three tubes above AVO winston (left icon)
12:34:39 <KorbenC> go to seedlink server
12:35:04 <KorbenC> select the washington one, give it a name, open it, go to networks, WY, then find YNR and open it
12:35:32 <KorbenC> https://www.monitorseis.net/use-swarm-program-old.html
12:36:24 <Ryan> Q: What is the official mascot of 2020?
12:37:00 <KorbenC> I thought it was a raccoon, I dont remember where I head that, I think at school
12:37:14 <Ryan> A: The Raccoon. Always wears a mask, compusively washes hands, and letters of raccoon rearranged almost spell corona, but not quite, just like 2020. Almost, but not quite.
12:38:02 <ynpvisitor40> Nice Ryan :-D
12:38:48 <Eric> should we have had a discharge spike by now?
12:39:30 <ynpvisitor59> The ynr hhz?

12:59:43 <Betty> hey Forest
13:03:34 <JarnoO> about half a spike on gauge
13:06:00 <Ryan> youd need to wait for the next update.
13:06:16 <Ryan> If this was winter, or there wasnt anyone in the basin, you'd have to wait to confirm it
13:07:06 <Ryan> That said, it fits the pattern for the up-spike perfectly.
13:07:32 <ynpvisitor59> nice
13:07:34 <Ryan> delay of 1hr 30min and a pulse time of 30min.
13:08:23 <Ryan> spike on YNR, wonder if someone slammed their truck door
13:10:10 <ynpvisitor59> I have all the ynr charts open in swarm, do I do something to see the data?

15:55:34 <KorbenC> it develops, weakens, changes dirrection
15:56:11 <KorbenC> I have been watching a cell in the past hour that has gone from strong, developed, weaked, grew, 2nd developed, slow down, speed up, grow, intensify :P

16:46:28 <Jeff> Entire time for what?
16:46:44 <KorbenC> from the time you got there, did you ahve other help?
16:46:58 <Jeff> Cause me and William work at separate stores. Hes at upper im at lower
16:47:09 <KorbenC> ah, that makes more sense
16:47:09 <Jeff> So I'm by myself as grocery lead.
16:47:39 <KorbenC> That just cleared up an entire hour long conversation, lol.
16:48:07 <Jeff> Lol
16:48:15 <KorbenC> do any other gazers work for DNC? that you know of in YNP.
16:48:42 <KorbenC> When he was talking about working at Upper and Living at lower, or living at upper. I was so confused :) but he WORKS at Upper, OK.
16:49:08 <Jeff> Well he works and lives at upper lol
16:49:23 <KorbenC> yeah, I though he worked at lower and lived at upper :)
16:49:41 <Jeff> And I'm not sure if any other gazers work for DNC
16:50:13 <ynpvisitor67> is DNC requiring masks like Xanterra?
16:50:18 <KorbenC> at least that hour conversation was spent waiting for Aurum :)
16:50:51 <Jeff> Yup all employees are required to wear masks and we get tested for covid by nps
16:51:16 <ynpvisitor67> customers masked too?
16:51:30 <Jeff> Most of them but not all
16:51:37 <KorbenC> what happened to that employee who tested positive but left quarantine illegaly?
16:52:19 <ynpvisitor67> Jeff, well be careful this summer
16:52:35 <Jeff> The only employee I know of that tested positive was retested twice and it came back negative on the retest and the initial test was determined a false positive
16:52:47 <KorbenC> it was Xanterra
16:52:57 <Jeff> 67 I've been trying to social distance as much as possible whenever possible
16:53:30 <Jeff> I dont usually pay too much attention to xanterra
16:54:04 <KorbenC> but while at SB an alert came through the radio about a Xanterra Positive who was missing
16:54:42 <KorbenC> well, at least DNC is taking percautions
16:56:14 <ynpvisitor67> they don't have to count it if they can't find them. (!)
16:56:34 <KorbenC> hahaha
16:57:23 <ynpvisitor67> my state doesn't count tourists, their home state gets that #
17:24:20 <ynpvisitor11> did Jeff miss SB today?

17:34:59 <GO STEAMBOAT> now i manage people that break things
17:35:24 <Eric> So you are like a mob boss
17:35:24 <GO STEAMBOAT> and try to convince the government that everything works just fine
17:35:43 <Eric> definitely like a mob boss :-P
17:36:01 <GO STEAMBOAT> running a sweat shop and demanding their allegiance, yes

17:51:50 <ynpvisitor96> I like turtles
17:51:54 <GO STEAMBOAT> most of what we do is weather reprting
17:52:15 <KorbenC> so, are you a NOAA, or FAA employee?
17:52:56 <GO STEAMBOAT> still a contrctor, we do flight planning for pilots .. among other things. we help everyone fly
17:52:57 <KorbenC> Grand ie
17:53:54 <GO STEAMBOAT> if theres weather you are interested in, we tell pilots not to fly
17:54:28 <KorbenC> have you issued an alert yet on Fay?
17:57:08 <GO STEAMBOAT> we dont issue alerts, just tell pilots what to expect

18:35:01 <JarnoO> that escalated quickly
18:37:50 <KorbenC> well, when at SB I leared that first you have to be nice to it, then once it starts getting happy and looks like it wants too erupt you start screaming at it (I was doing it from the parkinglot this year, people could hear me accross the parking lot) and then it erupts :P
18:38:08 <KorbenC> it worked for me twice

19:09:49 <JarnoO> next Lion @ 2006±5m if series continues. 3m35s (not sure where in-basin's 4m12s comes from, but oh well)

19:13:26 <KorbenC> Jarno, I am now downloading word and excel, so hopefully this is the last OF that I will not be able to grab

19:22:23 <JarnoO> Korben, the Atlantic is currently 12 days ahead of 2005 regarding named storms
19:23:02 <KorbenC> I saw that, nice.
19:23:41 <KorbenC> I am currently thinking that Cristina has a good shot of going Cat1
19:31:25 <KorbenC> splishy splashy Beehive
19:32:17 <JarnoO> finally it's doing something
19:34:05 <JarnoO> I'm off. Enjoy Lion in perhaps half an hour's worth if you're lucky
19:34:14 <KorbenC> Bye Jarno
19:37:08 <ynpvisitor81> Tough call how this year stacks up against 2005. We've got more named storms, but 2005 had Dennis in progress already.
19:40:08 <KorbenC> golf ball, what the heck are all those people doing at Aurum, they clearly arentall gazers
19:40:32 <KorbenC> wow, autocorrect takes geez and turns it into golf ball

20:14:45 <ynpvisitor92> lc too
20:15:39 <ynpvisitor98> wow, serious delay
20:15:42 <ynpvisitor98> no Lion yet
20:15:52 <ynpvisitor98> for me
20:16:30 <ynpvisitor98> oh I see it minored
20:17:24 <ynpvisitor92> was a quickie
20:36:48 <ynpvisitor81> I wonder if Lion ever comes back from 2 minors to continue a series.
20:44:41 <ynpvisitor81> Apparently a third minor isn't out of the question.
20:45:16 <ynpvisitor81> OK. Whatever I say, Lion will make me look dumb.
21:46:55 <ynpvisitor56> looked like a roar
21:49:45 <ynpvisitor56> lc
